The Central Board of Secondary Education is organizing the National Teachers Conference on Guidance & Counselling from October 10 to 11 in Guwahati, Assam.

About the Conference

The National Education Policy 2020 focuses on holistic development of the students which includes cognitive and socio-emotional development. Students go through a lot of emotional and psychological changes during their school years, and it’s important for schools to provide the right kind of support to help them navigate these changes. Guidance and Counselling services can play a significant role in addressing the developmental needs of students.

In this context, the Central Board of Secondary Education is going to organize the CBSE National Teachers’ Conference as per the details given below:

  • Duration: 10th-11th October, 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday).
  • Mode: Face to face/Physical mode.
  • City: Guwahati, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria

Any working Teacher/Principal/Counsellor/Special Educator etc. of the school affiliated with CBSE can participate as a delegate and/or paper presenter.

Certification

  • Theme-wise Best paper/Practice certificate shall be given to the participants based on the recommendation of the selection committee.
  • A participation certificate shall be issued at the valedictory session to all participants who attend this programme on both days as per schedule.

Registration Fees

A Fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. Two thousand only) per participant shall be accepted payable in online mode at the time of registration for the conference.

Registration Deadline

The last date for online registration is September 20, 2023 (05.00 PM) (IST).

Additional Details

  • The process of online registration is attached in Annexure-A of pdf.
  • The process of uploading research papers/Best Practices is also given in Annexure-A if any participant is willing to present his/her paper at the conference. Instructions to paper authors are attached in Annexure-B of pdf.
  • The paper must include a title, abstract, keywords, author and affiliation number, school number with email address, and contact details. (Annexure-C of pdf).
  • The link for online registration will be closed once the required number of participants is attained so do not wait for the last date. It will be strictly on a first come first served basis.
  • Lunch and refreshments shall be served at the Venue during the conference. However, no stay or travel arrangements shall be made for the participants by the Board. The participants have to make their own stay arrangements.
  • The fee for the conference is non-refundable.
  • The dates of the conference are tentative and may be changed by the Board in light of exigencies, if any. The participants have to attend the conference as per the revised dates and schedule. No request to refund the registration fee on the basis of changes in program dates/schedule will be considered.
