About the Opportunity

The Kirit P. Mehta School of Law’s Model United Nations Society is back with its flagship event- SOLMUN’25 with the hope to uphold its long tradition of hosting the most hospitable and quality MUN conference in the circuit.

Theme

The theme β€œYouth as Catalysts for Change: Empowerment and Leadership in Global Development” is a compelling choice for a School of Law Model UN conference. It aligns with pressing global issues and offers a platform for delegates to delve into real-world challenges faced by youth worldwide.

By discussing topics like unemployment, climate change, and social inequality, delegates can propose innovative solutions and advocate for policies that empower young people. This theme also provides an opportunity for delegates to develop essential skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, diplomacy, and negotiation. By representing different countries and perspectives, delegates can learn to articulate their views effectively and build consensus. Ultimately, this topic can inspire future leaders and advocates for social change, fostering a global dialogue on youth empowerment and shaping a brighter future for all.
