The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), in collaboration with MyGov, India, is organizing a Quiz on Quality & Standards 2.0 till March 5, 2024.

About the Organizer

The Bureau of Indian Standards is India’s national standards body under the Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India. It was established by the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, which came into effect on 12 October 2017.

About MyGov

MyGov is an innovative platform to build a partnership between Citizens and Government with the help of technology for the growth and development of India. MyGov is part of Digital India Corporation, a Section 8 company under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India.

About the Quiz

The Bureau of Indian Standards, as the National Standards Body of India, plays a crucial role in ensuring safety, reliability, and quality across industries and products.

A National Level Quiz is being organised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in collaboration with MyGov to test the knowledge about the vital role that quality, standards and consumer rights play in various aspects of our lives.

Quiz Format

  • The quiz will be in bilingual format, i.e., in Hindi and English.
  • The duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 10 questions can be answered.
  • Each question carries one mark and has four options with only one correct answer.
  • There is no negative marking.

Eligibility Criteria

This Quiz is open to anyone who is a citizen of India.

Prizes

  • First Prize: Rs. 10,000/-
  • Second Prize: Rs. 5,000/-
  • Third Prize: Rs. 3,000/-
  • 47 Consolation Prizes: Rs. 2,000/- each.
  • All the participants will get an e-certificate.
