The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in collaboration with MyGov, India is organizing an online quiz competition on Quality & Standards from August 15 to August 31, 2023.
About the Bureau of Indian Standards
The Bureau of Indian Standards is the National Standards Body of India under the Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India. It is established by the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 which came into effect on 12 October 2017.

About the Quiz
The Bureau of Indian Standards, as the National Standards Body of India, plays a crucial role in ensuring safety, reliability, and quality across industries and products.
A National Level Science Quiz is organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in collaboration with MyGov to test the knowledge about the vital role that quality and standards play in various aspects of lives.
The quiz will be in bilingual format i.e., in Hindi and English. The duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 10 questions can be answered.
Eligibility Criteria
Regardless of age, everyone is encouraged to participate.
Prizes
- The Top 10 winners will be rewarded with a Cash Prize of Rs 2,000 each.
- All the participants will get an E-certificate.
Important Note
- Participants may use a calculator and a rough sheet of paper.
- The criteria for selection of successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”, subject to the stipulation of 10 questions attempts and 05 minutes.
