Competition Details
Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of J&K invites you to participate in online drawing competition. Let’s commemorate the bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of our freedom fighters who paved the way for our nation’s independence. Join us in this drawing competition to celebrate their legacy and inspire future generations to cherish the spirit of freedom and unity.
Eligibility
All youth and college students of Universities in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) are eligible to participate.
Selection Criteria
- Participants must hand draw a portrait of their favourite freedom fighter.
- Only one entry per participant is allowed.
- A district-level committee comprising the District Information Officer and Chief Education Officer under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner is proposed to be constituted for scanning the entries at District Level.
- A Division Level Committee comprising of Joint Director Information and Director School Education and a representative of Culture Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, under the supervision of the Divisional Commissioner will be constituted to scan the entries at Divisional Level.
- Late entries will not be accepted.
- Participants must hand draw a portrait of their favourite freedom fighter.
- Only one entry per participant is allowed.

Rewards
The top 3 entries will be selected by a panel of judges and the winners will be felicitated at the Divisional level ceremony on 15th August, India’s Independence Day.

- 2nd Prize: 7,500
- 3rd Prize: 5,000
