GEMA was founded in 2020 with a mission to provide children with an innovative way to learn.

About the Contest

Essay writing is an art, which brings out your writing skill. It is an art, through which you pen down your knowledge and perception about the given topic. They encourage participants to develop not only the skills of penning down their thoughts but also creativity, research, and organization skills.

They believe in the enrichment of society by empowering young individuals with constructive thinking to create a positive ambiance for overall societal growth. The whole idea of this setup is to be a platform where kids from across the world can share their opinions on different topics. This gives them a sense of global citizenship and where they stand globally in terms of understanding a particular topic.

Participants should write in the English language without copying from Google. Participants are free to choose any title of their own on the given topic. The participants should present their essays in a convincing way so that the essay does not look like a mundane article created by easily available data from the internet.

Eligibility Criteria

This competition is open to students in grades 3 to 12.

Categories & Topics

Grade 3-5 (Sub-Junior)

  • Topic: The Most Exciting Place I’ve Ever Been to.
  • Word Count: Minimum 300, no limit on maximum words.

Grade 6-8 (Junior)

  • Topic: Bullying in Schools: Causes, Effects, and Solutions.
  • Word Count: Minimum 500, no limit on maximum words.

Grade 9-12 (Senior)

  • Topic: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Job Market and Society.
  • Word Count: Minimum 700, no limit on maximum words.

Prizes

  • 1st, 2nd & 3rd Position Trophies.
  • 5 Appreciation Medals for outstanding Essays in each group.
  • Every Participant will get a Certificate!

  • Title: Participants are free to choose any title of their own on the given topic.
  • Format: Recommended Font is Arial, Font Size is 12, Font Color is Black.
