Submissions are invited for National Anthem Singing Competition 2024 by Govt. of J&K. The last date of application is August 10, 2024.

Competition Details

The Department of Information and Public Relations proposes National Anthem Singing Competition 2024 via online mode from the 12th of July to 10th of August 2024. The terms of eligibility and other conditions/ procedure being proposed are as under:

Categories

Individual:

  • Between 13-18 years of age.
  • Above 18 years of age.

Group

Eligibility

  • Minimum age of participants must be 13 years.
  • Individual or group members must be Domicile of J&K.
  • The individual/ group members should be eligible in the respective category.

Selection Procedure

  •  A video file, preferably HD, of the National Anthem singing needs to be uploaded by 10.08.2024 on the created link.
  • A district-level committee comprising the District Information Officer and District Cultural Unit under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner is proposed to be constituted for scanning the entries at District Level. District Level winners will be provided the chance to sing National Anthem at District Headquarters.
  • District-level winners in all three categories would compete at the Division level. A Division Level Committee comprising of Joint Director Information, Director School Education, Representative from Cultural department not below rank of Additional Secretary under the supervision of the Divisional Commissioner, will be constituted to scan the entries at Divisional Level.
  • Divisional-level winners will get a chance to sing the Nation Anthem at the divisional level in Independence Day celebrations.
  •  A district-level committee comprising the District Information Officer and District Cultural Unit under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner is proposed to be constituted for scanning the entries at District Level. District Level winners will be provided the chance to sing National Anthem at District Headquarters.

Rewards

  • First Prize: Rs 10000/-
  • Second Prize: Rs 7500/-
  • Third Prize: Rs. 5000/-

How to Submit?

The Department of Information and Public Relations will create Google link for the submission of entries eligible individuals and groups will submit their entries via this link.

Submission Deadline

The last date of submission is August 10, 2024.
