The Automotive Skills Development Council is organizing the National Automobile Olympiad 2023 for Students of Classes 6 to 12.

About the Organizer

The Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) is the first dedicated sector skills council, in the government of India for the Automobile industry. ASDC has been granted recognition as an awarding body by NCVET. It provides prospects and a platform to all young generations who wish to work in the automotive sector by skilling them through a variety of skill development programs in association with industry training partners across the country.

About the Olympiad

The ASDC National Automobile Olympiad is an endeavor to engage with the school and students, build excitement, and raise awareness of the Indian automobile industry.

The competition also aims to recognize young learners for their talents in the field and to assist them in exploring the wide range of career opportunities within the industry in areas like IT, mechatronics, robotics,3D printing, Al, machine and deep learning, analytics, virtual collaboration, automotive design, and computational thinking.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The competition is open for students of classes 6 – 12 across all education boards.
  • The competition will be hybrid where the first 2 stages will be conducted online and the finals will be conducted in Delhi. Participating students should be willing to travel for the finals.
  • There is no age restriction for the students in the above classes.
  • The medium of instruction will be in English & Hindi.

Infrastructure & Fee

  • The event cost is entirely borne by the organizers and no participation fee is being charged to avail free registration.
  • The infrastructure required for students appearing for the online test/quiz are:
    • A computing device (PC, Laptop, Tablet/Phone).
    • Web Camera.
    • Stable Internet Connection (WIFI, Mobile Data).
    • Internet Browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
