The National Museum of Natural History, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) along with the United Nations Environment Program is organizing an Inter School Painting Competition on Ocean and Blue Economy.

Themes

You can choose one of the 3 themes:

  • Fragile Marine Biodiversity.
  • Save Our Oceans from the Plastic Mess.
  • A Healthy Ocean for a Healthy Economy.

Eligibility

The competition is open only for students from Grade 8 to Grade 12.

Prizes

  • First Prize: Rs. 5,000.
  • Second Prize: Rs. 4,000.
  • Third Prize: Rs. 3,000.
  • 20 Encouragement Prizes: Rs. 1000 each.
  • E-Certificate for all Participants.
  • The top 20 paintings will be awarded and displayed during the G20 Ocean Dialogue event in Mumbai.

Submission Guidelines

  • All artworks must be Landscape orientation, prepared on A3 Size Sheets Only.
  • A Label with the Student’s name, Class, and School name should be pasted behind the final artwork submitted.
  • Please ensure that the Student’s Name is not mentioned on the front side of the Artwork.
  • Students are advised to use eco-friendly painting materials like nontoxic crayons, eco-friendly oil paints, or simple watercolor paints.
  • The use of Computer Graphics is not allowed.
  • Each participant can submit only one artwork.

How to Submit?

The final artwork must be sent to: the National Museum of Natural History, Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, 4th floor, Block 3, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, 110003.
