Submissions are invited for IFAW World Wildlife Day International Youth Art Contest 2025. The last date of submission is February 2, 2025.

About IFAW

International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) was founded by Brian Davies with the goal to stop the commercial hunt for whitecoat seals on the east coast of Canada. The first IFAW office outside the United States was called Stichting IFAW. It gave IFAW additional support to fight the seal hunt, which at the time led to a storm of protests in the Netherlands.

IFAW is excited to announce the 2025 World Wildlife Day (WWD) International Youth Art Contest.

Wild animals and plants are a vital part of the intricate web of life, sustaining ecosystems and natural processes that we depend on to survive and thrive. Through the transformational power of art, contestants will raise awareness for wildlife conservation and share the benefits we receive from wild plants and animals.Β Β

This year’s World Wildlife Day is celebrated under the theme of β€œWildlife Conservation Finance: Investing in People and Planet” and aims to highlight the need to invest in wildlife through innovative financing solutions that recognize the critical role of wildlife to support our economies and well-being.Β Β Β
