IP4Kids, in association with S.S. Rana & Co., is organizing the Write-a-Thon 7th Annual Essay Writing Competition, 2023 on the occasion of National Sports Day on August 29.

About the Competition

On the occasion of National Sports Day, S.S. Rana & Co. through its CSR initiative, IP4Kids is organizing Write-a-Thon 7th Annual Writing Competition. The Essay Competition offers an opportunity for young minds to assess & pen down the immense role that sports play in the legal regime and explore the various legal avenues where Sports as a subject has significantly emerged in the recent past.

Topics

Interested students from schools and colleges are invited to submit their essays on any one of the below-mentioned topics:

For School Students: Category A

  • Understanding of Online Gaming Laws in India.
  • Gender Biases in School Sports.
  • Physical Violence in Sports: Laws and Remedies.

For College Students

  • Sexual harassment in sports.
  • Taxation of Online Gaming in India.
  • How AI is revolutionizing online gaming?

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to school and college students only.

How to Submit?

  • The essay should be within the 1500-word limit.
  • The participant should submit the write-up in a Word file format only on the IP4Kids platform/website at the email address i.e. info@ip4kids.in.
  • Participants are required to provide the following details along with the essay submission, without which the entries will not be considered
    • Name of the participant
    • Parents/Guardian name
    • Phone number
    • Residence address
    • School/College name and address
    • Class/Year
    • Copy of School/College ID proof
  • Participants should mention “Write-a-Thon 6th Essay Writing Competition to celebrate National Sports Day 2023” in the subject line of the submission email.
  • Entries must be original and in English or Hindi language only.
  • Only a single entry will be accepted from one person and the entry shall be disqualified if it is found to be plagiarized.

Submission Deadline

August 29, 2023.

Awards

  • Awards will be given to the top three entries received from Schools and Colleges respectively.
  • All participants will be given participation certificates.
