The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is excited to announce the 3rd Pratibha Sangam Competition. The deadline for submission is August 31, 2024.
About ICCR
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) – the cultural arm of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India , has been actively pursuing promotion of Indian culture abroad through its Indian Cultural Centers functioning abroad and the Indian diaspora.
Introduction to the Contest
- ICCR has taken a mega initiative of organizing 3rd Pratibha Sangam Competition – the global competition under its aegis, for performers from around the world in the categories of Classical Indian Music and Dances. This competition shall be judged by a stellar jury drawn from amongst the leading exponents of these performing arts in India.
- Winners of this Competition would be invited to India for live performance at events to be organised in India.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to the citizens and PIOs of Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, Fiji, Germany, Guyana, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Teheran, Thailand , Trinidad & Tobago, UK, USA, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. This Competition is not open for NRIs.
Age Categories
The participants shall be of minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 50 years. Age category shall be as –
- 18 – 30 years
- 31—50 years
The cut- off date for determining minimum and maximum age limit is 31.08.2024.
Confidentiality
All the personal information provided by the entrants will be kept confidential. The announcements will reveal only the identities of the winners of the competition, with information such as name, age, gender, category of award and the country. The participants unconditionally grant the rights to ICCR, Consent for use of their videos by the organizers for promotion activities in future . This is irrevocably implicit in their act of submission of the entries in this competition.

Timeline
- Starting Date- July 01, 2024
- Closing Date- August 31, 2024 (6:00pm IST)
- Winner Announcement- September/October 2024 (Tentative)
Awards
Prize money for winners in each genres will be-
- 1st Prize- Rs. 41k+ / $500
- 2nd Prize- Rs. 29k+ / $350
- 3rd Prize- Rs. 20k+ / $250
- A certificate will also be awarded to the winners.
The final winners shall be invited to perform in India.The expenses incurred in travel and stay shall be borne by ICCR.
