To commemorate International Moon Day 2023, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is organising an online competition for students in classes 8 to 12. The last date for registration is July 20, 2023.

About the Organizer

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the national space agency of India, headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka. It operates under the Department of Space (DOS) which is directly overseen by the Prime Minister of India, while the Chairman of ISRO acts as the executive of DOS as well.

About the Quiz Competition

  • There shall be 30 multiple-choice questions.
  • Each correct answer will carry 2 (two) marks and each incorrect answer will attract 1 (one) negative mark.
  • All questions have to be attempted, and answering has to be completed in 15 min.
  • The online quiz can be attempted only once by every participant.
  • The participants scoring 50% marks will be awarded the certificates.

About the Poster & Painting Competition

  • Please submit your original Poster/Painting for the competition.
  • Only PDF/PNG/JPEG files are allowed to be uploaded into the portal.
  • The Maximum file size should be less than 1 Mb and you can upload only one file for the competition.
  • You can change or replace your submission till the last date. After the last date, no further editing or upload will be allowed.

Theme of the Competition

The theme of this competition is “Lunar Exploration Coordination & Sustainability“.

Eligibility Criteria

School students studying in classes 8 to 12 can participate in this contest.
