Submissions are invited for Humanimal Trust Creative Awards 2024. The last date of submission is March 31, 2024.
About the Trust
They are a charity based in the UK working towards One Medicine.Β What is One Medicine, you might ask?
They want to create a world where both humans and animals have better opportunities to benefit equally from medical progress. So, information learnt in the human field is passed onto the veterinary sciences and vice versa.Β Β We can achieve this when vets, doctors, allied professionals and researchers routinely collaborate and connect with each other to share information, resources and studies. This is medical progress for all, but not at the expense of an animalβs life. β this is One Medicine.
Contest Details
In celebration of the connectivity between us and other animals, they are launching our Creative Awards 2024. They invite you to share, using all your creative skills, your thoughts and art based on the wonderful bond between us and the animals we live with on this planet.
Each entry will then be judged by a panel consisting of our founder, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, world history author and storyteller, Christopher Lloyd, and Managing Director of What on Earth Books, Nancy Feresten.
So whether you are a writer, artist, photographer or film director we have a category for you to enter!
The theme of Time to Connect fits beautifully with what we are striving for at Humanimal Trust.Β Humans and animalsβ lives are so closely interlinked daily.Β Β We share our homes, our lives, our struggles, world resources and we care for each other.Β Β Sadly, we also share diseases.Β What better Time to Connect than now, in Humanimal Trustβs 10th anniversary year to share the power of that connection?
