EduJunior is a dedicated online platform that connects students with expert tutors from various fields. Our team is comprised of educators, technology enthusiasts, and customer service professionals committed to enhancing the learning experience for students of all ages.

Eligibility

  • The contest is open to students enrolled in Grades 1 through 12.
  • Participants must obtain prior permission from their parents, legal guardians, or teachers to enter the competition.

Essay Specifications

  • Each participant may submit only one essay.
  • Essays must be written in English.
  • The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words, depending on the grade category.
    • Grades 1-3: 500-600 words
    • Grades 4-6: 600-700 words
    • Grades 7-9: 700-800 words
    • Grades 10-12: 800-1000 words
  • Essays must be typed in a readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, Arial) with a font size of 12, in black color, and with standard margins.
  • The theme of the essay should be clearly mentioned at the top of the first page.
  • Content should be original and should not violate any religious, linguistic, or social sentiments.

Submission Requirements

  • Participants must upload their essays in PDF format, with a file size not exceeding 2 MB.
  • Along with the essay, participants must submit a picture of themselves holding a sign with the contest theme and their name.
  • Participants must also provide one of the following valid ID proofs (provide any one of these): School ID, Passport, Resident Permit, or Birth Certificate.
  • All entries must include the entrant’s first name, grade/class, and school name.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Entries will be judged based on relevance to the theme, originality, creativity, coherence, and the message conveyed.
  • The average marks awarded by the judges will determine the final score for each participant.

Application Process

Step 1: Registration

  • Fill out the registration form.
  • Ensure all details are filled accurately.
  • Make the payment as required.
  • Receive the payment receipt over the mentioned email.
  • Note that registration will be closed on September 30th, 2024.

Step 2: Essay Submission

  • Read the rules and guidelines of the contest.
  • Select one theme from the two given options.
  • Submit the essay on or before the submission date, which is October 5th, 2024.

Step 3: Announcement and Awards

  • Wait for the announcement period where winners and runners-up will be declared.
  • Certificates and awards will be awarded to the winners and runners-up.

 Themes and Age Categories

  Grades 1-3:

  1. My Favorite Holiday and Why I Love It: Children can describe their favorite holiday, what they do during that time, and why it is special to them.
  2. If I Could Have Any Pet, I Would Choose...: Young students can write about their dream pet, why they would choose it, and what adventures they would have together.

Grades 4-6:

  1. The Importance of Friendship: Students can explore what friendship means to them, how to be a good friend, and why friendships are important.
  2. How I Would Make My School Better: Children can think creatively about improvements they would make to their school and how these changes would benefit everyone.

Grades 7-9:

  1. The Impact of Social Media on Teenagers: Students can discuss the positive and negative effects of social media on their age group and suggest ways to use it responsibly.
  2. The Role of Technology in Education: They can explore how technology has changed the way they learn, the benefits and challenges it presents, and its future potential.

Grades 10-12:

  1. Climate Change: What Can We Do to Help?: High school students can analyze the causes of climate change, its effects on the planet, and practical steps individuals and communities can take to combat it.
  2. The Importance of Mental Health Awareness in Schools: They can discuss why mental health awareness is crucial in educational settings, the impact of mental health issues on students, and how schools can support mental well-being.

  • Schools can enter any number of participants without any maximum or minimum limit.
  • We encourage you to run the competition with larger groups to maximize the chances of securing winning spots.Β 
  • Schools can either ask students to submit entries Individually or they can Collect all Entries Details like:-
