Submissions are invited for Design a Mascot Contest 2024 for PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, India. The last date of submission is March 18, 2024.
Contest Details
The Sun has been worshipped as a life-giver to our planet since ancient times. India has a vast solar energy potential. The PM Suryaghar: Muft Bijli Yojana aims to integrate the use of solar energy in our everyday lives through the recently launched Rooftop Solar (RTS) Programme. With an initial target of covering one crore households, the scheme will enable beneficiaries to generate up to 300 units of electricity per month through solar panels. The beneficiaries can also avail subsidy up to ₹78000.
Promoting this scheme, the Ministry and New & Renewable Energy in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to design a Mascot for PM Suryaghar: Muft Bijli Yojana which has the potential to become the face of this scheme. The Mascot must have a strong depiction of the importance of adopting solar energy and green energy in general.
The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy and REC Limited will have the sole right/proprietorship
for the usage of the winning content. The participant shall be solely responsible for any
consequences that may arise due to any kind of infringement of copyrights or any kind of intellectual
property rights belonging to any other person/entity etc.
Eligibility
The contest is open to Indian Nationals only.
Technical Parameters
- The mascot must be eye-catching and depict the finer ideas of this scheme along with its benefits.
- The entries should be accompanied by a brief description of the mascot and how best it encapsulates the essence of the scheme.
- The entries will only be accepted in high quality .JPEG format. Entries sent in any other format will be instantly disqualified.
Gratifications
The best mascot will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 15,000.
