About the Contest

Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed on July 26th every year to mark the victory of the Indian Army in the Kargil War of 1999. To celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a year-long programme has been planned which would commence on July 26, 2023.

In a view to select a logo for this Mahotsav, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov is organizing an online contest inviting Logo for the citizens (aged 14 and above) to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas in honour of the Kargil War’s Heroes.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to all Indian Citizens aged 14 years and above.

Rewards

The Best Entry will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.

Submission Deadline

The competition will close on July 19, 2023, by 11.59 AM.

Submission Guidelines

  • Participants should only upload the logo in JPEG/PNG/PDF format.
  • The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
  • The logo image should be in high resolution with a minimum of 300 DPI.
  • The logo should be designed on a digital platform and in a coloured format and must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
  • The logo should be clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on-screen at 100%. Compressed or self-extracting format entry will lead to disqualification.
  • The logo design should not be imprinted or watermarked.
