About the Contest
The VADON Association is thrilled to announce the 11th TransNatura International Nature Photo Contest for 2024, calling on amateur and professional photographers from around the world to showcase their best nature photography. The TransNatura Photo Contest aims to highlight the importance of nature conservation and the protection of natural habitats through the powerful medium of photography. By capturing the beauty of the natural world, photographers can raise awareness of environmental issues and contribute to the preservation of our planetβs biodiversity.
Contest Categories for 2024
The competition is divided into two categories, offering a diverse range of nature-focused subjects:
- A. Wildlife β This category focuses on wild animals in their natural habitats. Entries can include portraits, action shots, or scenes showcasing animal behavior and their role in ecosystems. Remember, all photos must depict wild animals in their natural environments β no captive animals allowed.
- B. Nature and Landscapes β Celebrate the beauty of landscapes, forests, waters, plants, and natural phenomena. This category excludes animals but focuses on the raw, breathtaking diversity of the natural world.
Prizes
A total of β¬5,500 will be awarded across the contest, with the prestigious TransNatura Grand Prize receiving β¬1,500. The prize breakdown is as follows:

- 1st Prize: β¬1,000

Eligibility
The contest is open to all photographersβboth amateurs and professionals. The only requirement is that all photos must be taken in natural habitats without disturbing wildlife. No photos of captive animals are allowed.

Jury
