About the Contest
Schoolsindia, a national leader in promoting student talent, has been hosting the HOPE Talent Contest for over 20 years. The contest offers cash prizes worth over βΉ5,00,000 and aims to uncover the hidden talents of students from across India. With categories in both Art and Essay Writing, this contest allows participants to express their creativity and showcase their critical thinking on a national stage.
Categories and Topics
The contest is divided into five divisions according to school grade levels, with specific topics for drawing and essay writing:
- Tiny Tots (Prep, Nur & KG): Draw a Ball
- Sub-Junior (Std. I & II): Butterfly Park | Essay Topic: My School
- Junior (Std. III & IV): Aquarium | Essay Topic: Why Sleeping Early is Important
- Junior-High (Std. V & VI): A Waterfall Scene | Essay Topic: Ways to Save Electricity at Home
- Sub-Senior (Std. VII, VIII, IX): Mandala Art or Warli Painting | Essay Topic: Street Food Safety Tips
- Senior (Std. X, XI, XII): Create an artwork representing The Power of Kindness | Essay Topic: The Impact of AI Technology on Students
Entry Guidelines
- Essay Writing: Should not exceed 500 words and must be handwritten clearly by the student.
- Drawing: Can use materials like watercolor, oil paint, or crayons, with a maximum size of 10×15 inches.
Important Dates and Participation
- Last Date: Contact your school for the deadline.
- Results: Winners will be announced on 15th December 2024.
All submissions must be routed through schools, with no direct individual entries. The schoolβs Head or Teacher-in-Charge must verify the originality of the work.
Prizes and Awards
Participants can win exciting awards, including:
- Cash Prizes: Over 1,500 students will receive cash prizes, including:
- 1st Prize: βΉ2,00,000 (200 prizes of βΉ1,000 each)
- 2nd Prize: βΉ1,50,000 (300 prizes of βΉ500 each)
- 3rd Prize: βΉ1,00,000 (500 prizes of βΉ200 each)
- Consolation Prize: βΉ50,000 (500 prizes of βΉ100 each)
- Recognition: Merit certificates, medals, and national-level acknowledgment. Best art entries may feature in the yearly calendar or contest posters.
Terms and Conditions
- All entries must be original and certified by the school.
- Submitted materials will become the property of Schoolsindia, which reserves the right to use them for promotional purposes.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding.
