GSDS is organising a Slogan Writing Competition in collaboration with MyGov. The deadline for submission is October 2, 2024.

About the Competition

As we approach to the 82nd Anniversary of the Quit India Movement on August 9, 2024, initiated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942 with the powerful slogan β€œQuit India,” we are reminded of our enduring struggle for freedom and the ongoing journey towards an egalitarian society. Further, with the 77th Independence Day also around the corner on August 15, 2024, we recognize that numerous social evils continue to hinder our progress. It is imperative to address these issues to truly honor the spirit of independence.

In this context, Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti (GSDS) proposes a collaborative initiative with MyGov to launch a β€œPan India Awareness” Campaign through a β€œSlogan Writing Competition” focusing on critical social issues such as pollution, dowry, corruption, violence against women, alcoholism, poverty, domestic violence, untouchability, honor killings.
