Challenge Details
What does the future hold for children growing up around the world? The Earth4All Stories of the Future challenge invites young people to share their visions.
Write, draw, paint or film your future story to win book vouchers, a book and publication in their digital magazine!
Eligibility
The competition is open to young people worldwide. Submissions may be made in the following categories: under16, 16-18, 19-21 inclusive.
Theme
Participants are asked to provide original creative responses to the storytelling tool and ‘Giant Leap’ scenario provided by Earth4All. These responses may take the form of a written piece, a drawing, painting or similar, or a short video.
Guidelines
- Submissions may be produced in any language.
- Written submissions should not exceed 800 words.
- Drawings or paintings should be scanned or uploaded as a good-quality photograph.
- Videos should be no longer than 1 minute 30 seconds. If produced in a language other than English, a written version of the text is also requested.
- Entries must be original and unpublished works created solely by the participant.
- Participants may submit one entry each.
- Entries from entrants aged 15 and under must be submitted by an adult (e.g. parent/guardian or teacher) on behalf of the entrant. The adult should provide their own contact details on the registration form.
- Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme.
Prizes
Up to six winning entries will be published on the Earth4All website and in a digital booklet, and will be showcased in a variety of formats across social media. Three entries will receive a copy of Earth4All and a book voucher worth 50 EUR (or resource of equivalent value).
