Registrations are open and invited from grades 6 to 12 students for the GLOBE Science & Environment Olympiad by the Indian Environmental Society, Delhi. The last date of registration is September 15, 2024.
About the Olympiad
GLOBE Science & Environment Olympiad is an initiative taken by the Indian Environmental Society whose goal is to promote STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and math). The Olympiad is designed to encourage students to explore, discover, and learn more about STEM education.
GLOBE Science & Environment Olympiad aims to promote a career in STEM and to help all students reach a higher level of achievement in “STEM education” and “STEM jobs”. It provides a great opportunity to compare educational methods and exchange experiences at international levels.
Eligibility Criteria
The Olympiad is open to students from classes VI to XII.
Prize & Awards
- The 1st Olympiad rank holder up to the 12th class shall be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- along with a gold medal on an all-India basis.
- The 2nd Olympiad rank holder up to the 12th class shall be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- along with a silver medal on an all-India basis.
- The 3rd Olympiad rank holder up to the 12th class shall be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000/- along with a bronze medal on an all-India basis.
- Consolation Prize holders up to the 12th class shall be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- on an all-India basis.
- All the qualifying participants shall be awarded participation certificates reflecting their Olympiad Grades.

Registration Fee
For Registration through the School
Amount of Rs. 150/- per participant shall be collected by the school. The school shall retain Rs 20/- per participant as its expenses towards honorarium to the invigilator(s) and other expenses.
For Study Material
The cost of the preparatory book (study Material) is Rs. 50/- per book.
