About Vignyan 2023

School of Physical Sciences, Amrita Vidyalayam, Coimbatore is conducting a summer camp for Class 11-12 students. This is an exciting opportunity for the students to participate in various events and showcase their talents.

General Rules

  • The students can register only through the School authorities.
  • The final round of all the events will be held during the Summer Camp, Vignyan 23, May 2-6, 2023 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
  • The rules for conducting various competitions will be conveyed at the time of events.

Quiz Rules

  • Only one team can register from every school comprising two students.
  • The first round of competitions will be held online for all the registered teams.
  • The first round competition will be conducted as MCQ Test online on April 9, 2023, at 11 00 AM. The link for the test will be made available on April 1, 2023.
  • The time duration will be 30 minutes and a number of questions will be known at the time of the test.
  • The selected teams for the final round will be intimated through the school concerned.

Essay Rules

  • Only one student can register from every school.
  • Students are instructed to upload a one-page write-up on the topic Role of Science and Technology in the Defence sector in India at the time of registration.
  • The selected teams for the final round will be intimated through the school concerned.

Paper Presentation Rules

  • Only one student can register from every school.
  • Students are instructed to upload a one-page write-up on the topic Contributions of Indian Physicists to the global Science and Technology development at the time of registration.
  • The selected teams for the final round will be intimated through the school concerned.

Project or Working Model Rules

  • Only one team can register from every school comprising two students.
  • Students are instructed to upload a one-page write-up about the Project or working Model at the time of registration.
  • The selected teams for the final round will be intimated through the school concerned.

Benefits

  • All participants will be given certificates.
  • The winner will get a prize worth up to Rs. 1 Lakh.
