About the Camp

IISER Bhopal invites applications from students interested in attending a short summer camp from May 15 -20, 2023 at our campus in Bhauri, Bhopal. Students who are studying in classes IX, X, XI as of May 2023 can apply.

The camp aims to enable the participants to understand the central role of science in society. This camp will introduce participants to fascinating topics in natural and engineering sciences through lectures and hands-on laboratory exercises. This exposure will be supplemented with critical perspectives from Humanities and Social Sciences. Additionally, there will be fun activities through which the participants can interact with the senior students.

Important dates

  • March 09, 2023: Opening of online application form 
  • March 31, 2023: Last date for submission of online form 
  • April 10, 2023: Uploading list of shortlisted applicants for paying registration fee Rs 2000/-. 
  • April 17, 2023: Last date for submission of registration fee 
  • May 14, 2023: Students arrivals in campus 
  • May 15-20, 2023: Outreach activities 

Instruction for Participation

  • Please upload only a recent passport-size photograph; the photograph should be JPG or PNG format and should not be more than 200 KB.
  • After submitting the form, the candidate has to take a printout of it and get it attested from the Principal of the school. The scanned copy of the attested form has to be uploaded in the portal on or before the specified due date i.e., March 31, 2023, 5:00 PM.
  • The application form for participating in the summer outreach camp will be only complete after uploading the scanned attested copy of the form in the portal and submitting the form.
  •  Incomplete and unattested application form will not be considered for screening. The candidates are advised to fill correct email id and contact no in the form. All future correspondence will de done through the same.
  • The applications received for participating in the Summer Outreach Camp will be screened and final list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded in the web portal. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated about their selection through email, after which a Registration Fee of Rs. 2000.00 /- (Rupees two thousand only) has to be submitted through the SBI I Collect link shared.
