Scholarship Details

SOF Defence Services Academician Scholarship (DSAS) 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)* to Class 1 to 10 students. This scholarship aims to recognise and reward the academic achievements of students from Indian Defence Services and Internal Security Services families. Selected candidates will receive a one-time cash award of ₹5,000 and a certificate.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be a resident of India.
  • Be studying in Class 1 to 10 in a recognised school/institution.
  • Belong to a serving or retired Defence Services/Internal Security Services family.

Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a one-time cash award of ₹5,000 and a certificate.

Documents

  • Report card of the previous year duly certified by the Principal.
  • A recommendation letter signed by the headmaster/principal.
  • Academic transcripts including marksheets and certificates.

Recommendations must be submitted in the specified format with all necessary documents.

Selection Criteria

The SOF selection committee will evaluate all applications sent by the schools.

After evaluation, a final list of deserving candidates will be prepared and communicated individually to them through their respective schools.
