There are many reasons why you should participate in the World Environment Day Survey [Promoting Sustainable Practices in Daily Life] by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Let’s take a look at some of them:

  • Contribution to the Society: As a student, it’s important to answer questions asked by the government which can help solve larger and global problems. As the name suggests, this survey will be helpful in working towards maintaining a healthy environment in the entire world, by first starting with India. Therefore, you can be a strong contributing factor in society through your honest answers.
  • Sense of Accomplishment: By doing something as small as filling out a survey on the MyGov platform, you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment since you will actually be leaving an impact on the world, by putting your thoughts and ideas on the table and in front of the world.
  • Exposure at a Young Age: At a young age, you will brainstorm different suggestions and ideas centred around the environment. You will get exposure to the different things that are currently happening in our world and the things that should happen according to you.
  • Celebrate Environment: The World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year. By contributing to this survey, you’re partly also celebrating the occasion. Celebrate with the world!
