About MyGov

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on July 26, 2014 to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development. It is aimed at creating a common platform for Indian citizens to “crowdsource governance ideas from citizens”.

About the Quiz on Veer Baal Diwas 2023

Every year, December 26 is celebrated as Veer Baal Diwas, a tribute to the memory of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji’s sons for their supreme sacrifice and bravery.

In an effort to enhance public participation, the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with MyGov, is organising a quiz on ‘Veer Baal Diwas 2023’ to pay homage to the great valour and supreme sacrifice.

All participants will get an e-certificate.

Terms and Conditions

This quiz is organised by the Ministry of Education.
Each question in the Quiz is in the Multiple-Choice Format and has only one correct answer.
The quiz will have a bilingual format and will be available in English and Hindi.
Each Question carries 1 mark. Participants are required to attempt all questions in total.
Participants will be required to answer 10 questions within 300 seconds.
Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
Participants will be required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and additional details as required by the entry form. By submitting their details and participating in the quiz, participants give consent to MyGov and Ministry of Education to use this information as required to facilitate the conduct of the quiz competition which may include confirmation of participant details.
Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
After responding to a question, click on the “Next Question” button to go to the next question.
No negative marking will be done.
After attempting questions, a final submission should be clicked. No changes can be made after the final submission.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
The organisers reserve the rights to disqualify participants, refuse entry, or discard entries, if such instances or participation is considered to be detrimental to the competition, or additionally, any entry will be considered void if the information submitted is illegible, incomplete, false, or erroneous.
Organisers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s responsibility.
The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
Organisers’ decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above‑mentioned terms and conditions.
The following terms and conditions shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
