About the Organisers
The IRMUN Society, IIT Roorkee’s student-run Model United Nations club, focuses on enhancing participants’ understanding of global issues and international diplomacy. By simulating debates held at the United Nations and its committees, the club helps students build essential skills in public speaking, research, negotiation, and leadership.
IRMUN encourages members to engage in discussions on global challenges, aiming to develop their ability to address conflicts diplomatically. Students from IIT Roorkee actively participate in prestigious Model UN Conferences, Youth Parliaments, and similar events across India, gaining valuable insights into policymaking and global cooperation.
In addition to external participation, IRMUN organizes its annual flagship conference, attracting participants from across the country. This provides a platform for intellectual engagement and networking, preparing students for leadership roles in various fields while deepening their understanding of global affairs.
Event Details
MUNarchy 2025 is an IRMUN (IIT Roorkee Model United Nations) flagship event, which serves as a place of relevance for now and future leaders and diplomats of this generation. It is bound to be one of the largest MUN conferences in North India which provides its participants with the perfect opportunity to build up their personal and professional.
This event is aimed at honing leadership skills and diplomatic tactics which are crucial to navigate complex global issues and crises effectively.
MUNarchy is much more than just an event. It is intended to be a convergence of diplomacy, practice of international relations and public policy. Participants would have the opportunity to connect with and learn from some of the nation’s top-tier MUN speakers, experienced diplomats and policy experts which is bound to make it an enriching experience that extends beyond the conference rooms.
By engaging in realistic simulations and discussions on pressing international affairs, delegates would gain a deep understanding of public policy-making, the workings of international organizations and the critical intricacies of international relations.

Fee Details
- For 3 day conference, the total fee is 1600, which comes down to 533.33 per day.
- This includes the delegation fee and various other packages, such as interview mock practices, various paid courses, such as the Fluent English course from Eveplacement, which will be provided to each participant free of cost, and other hampers from Gifting Partners.
