About the Organizer
Recognizing the need for catering to the R&D needs in the field of Water Management, the Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM) was established as an autonomous research organisation by the Government of Kerala, under its Science and Technology Policy in February 1978.

Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM), Kerala will be organizing a Art and Craft Contest 2023 on World Environment Day. The focal theme of the competition is Solutions to Plastic Pollution.
Date and Time
June 5, 2023 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM.
Venue
CWRDM, Kozhikode.
Contest Rules
- Contest is open for upper primary and high school students.
- Spot registration starts at 9:30 am.
- Candidates should carry their School ID cards or letter from the Headmaster to participate in the programme.
- Team shall consist of maximum of two members.
- The art/craft work should be on the theme mentioned above.
- Participants are required to bring the necessary materials.
- Participants will be given 2.5 hours to show their creativity and 2 minutes to talk about the same.
- Waste material should be any kind of plastic and usage of other materials should be less than 10%.
- Participants are not allowed to bring any ready or semi-finished model or matter.
- No mobile or Internet would be allowed to be used at the time of competition.
Prizes
The best team will be awarded a cash prize and certificate as indicated below:
- First Prize: Rs.2000/- + Certificate
- Second Prize: Rs.1000/- + Certificate
- Participation certificate for all contestants.
