About the Program

In today’s rapidly evolving world, fostering innovative thinking in students is more important than ever. The courage to explore new methods, try untested techniques, and the wisdom to work with available resources can drive the creative breakthroughs of tomorrow. To help young minds embark on this journey, Nehru Science Centre and Marathi Vidnyan Parishad have teamed up to present the β€˜Exercise in Innovative Thinking’—a unique, hands-on learning program designed to ignite curiosity and develop critical thinking in students.

Why Join?

This program moves beyond conventional teaching by empowering students to design their own experiments. Using scientific apparatus provided, students will independently explore concepts they’ve already studied, all under the guidance of trained and enthusiastic volunteers. There’s no spoon-feeding here; instead, students are encouraged to experiment, problem-solve, and learn by doing.

Program Highlights

  • Hands-On Learning: Students from grades VII, VIII, IX, and X get an opportunity to explore science through active experimentation.
  • Multilingual Support: Sessions will be conducted in Marathi, Hindi, and English, creating an inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Small Batch Sizes: With only 20 students per batch, each participant receives focused attention and personalized guidance.
  • Affordable Participation: The program is accessible at a nominal fee of Rs. 200 per student, with special weekday batches available for schools.
