About Youth Ideathon 2024
Organised by ThinkStartup and Management Entrepreneurship Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) in association with Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE), in 3 editions, the Youth Ideathon is India’s biggest innovation and entrepreneurship competition designed specifically for school students. Youth Ideathon is a platform for young innovators to showcase their ideas aimed at solving real-world problems. It encourages students to think outside the box and develop solutions that can make a significant impact on society.
Themes for 2024
The competition encourages students to submit ideas that fall under the following themes:
- Leveraging Indian Heritage: Ideas that incorporate India’s rich cultural and historical legacy to solve contemporary issues.
- Emerging Technologies: Solutions that utilize cutting-edge technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain.
- Sustainability: Innovations that address environmental challenges and promote sustainable development.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to all school students in India across two categories:
- Junior: Class 4 to Class 8
- Senior: Class 9 to Class 12
How to Participate?
Participation is free. Students can register and submit their ideas online through the official website. The submission process involves detailing the problem being addressed, the proposed solution, and its potential impact.
