Competition Details

Participate in the Information Technology Department’s online traditional song singing competition, seizing the opportunity to express the spirit of Traditional Songs of Jammu & Kashmir under the theme “Soulful Echoes: Traditional Songs of Jammu & Kashmir” sing and express your unique perspective on the harmonious blend of tradition and technology. Selection Criteria

Each entry should include the following:

  • A maximum of 02 songs per participant is allowed.
  • Timelines for song is 2 to 3 minutes (maximum).
  • Participants from all age groups are invited to participate.
  • Location (State/District/City).
  • Language should be English/Hindi and Urdu.
  • Each song File should be less than 5 MB and downloadable in mp3 or mp4 format only.

Terms and Conditions

  • The competition is open only to residents of J&K.
  • The entry must be original, not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and must not infringe on the intellectual rights of any third party.
  • The entry must not contain provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
  • The winning entries would be the intellectual property of the Information Technology Department; J&K and the winners shall not exercise any right over it.
  • The winning entries may be used by the IT Department of J&K for promotional/ or display purposes, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials, and for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.

Rewards

Ten (10) best entries shall be rewarded with ₹1500/- each and e-certificates.
