Contest Details
TCS iON IntelliGem is a national-level contest on 21st century skills for the students of Grades 5 to 9. The contest is open to all students in India.
School must register to enable its students to participate in the contest. On registering, the school will receive School ID (numeric) that they must share with their students. Without the School ID, the students will not be able to register for the IntelliGem contest.
All the Schools that had registered for any of the previous 3 editions of TCS iON IntelliGem, need not register their details again with us. They will be considered for participation in TCS iON IntelliGem 2024-25 and their students may use the School’s IntelliGem ‘School ID’ and participate in the contest.
Eligibility
Students from Grade 5 to 9 can participate in TCS iON IntelliGem.
Format of the Contest
- The TCS iON IntelliGem Contest will be held in 3 stages – Qualifying Round, Pre-Finals and the Grand Finale.
- The students are enrolled into a community as per their grade as soon as they purchase TCS iON IntelliGem Topic(s). A world full of fun-filled learning awaits them. They will be regularly engaged with enriching content through articles, quizzes, puzzles, and more on the five 21st Century topics. This will continue till the Qualifying Round begins.
- The Qualifying Round comprises two online assessments. The weighted performance scores from these assessments will be considered for qualification to the next stage. The evaluation criteria are mentioned in the ‘How is IntelliGem Quotient derived?’ section on the contest website.
- In this stage, the pre-finalist participant will be interviewed by a panel of experts in audio/visual/activity-based formats. In the Pre-Finals, participants will be evaluated at their grade-topic level.
- Based on their performance in the Pre-finals, the Top TWO participants for each grade-topic will be selected to participate in the Grand Finale stage. In this stage, participants will be evaluated by a Jury in a face-to-face mode. For every topic, the top performer will be chosen as the Winner of IntelliGem 2024-25 across two categories – Junior (Grades 5 and 6) and Senior (Grades 7, 8 and 9).
