About the Organisation
World Photography Organisation is a leading global platform dedicated to the development and advancement of photographic culture. Its programming and competition initiatives provide valuable opportunities for artists working in photography and help broaden the conversation around their work.
The Sony World Photography Awards is World Photography Organisation’s principal programme. Established in 2007, it is one of the world’s biggest and most prestigious photography competitions; celebrating the work of leading and emerging practitioners and attracting tens of thousands of visitors annually to its exhibitions worldwide.
Competition Details
Free to enter and open to photographers under 19 year-olds submitting single images taken in 2024.
Enter your favourite photographs taken in 2024. Submit up to three of your striking single images from the past year and share them with the judges. All photographic styles, genres and approaches are welcome – enter your top standout images you think will catch the judge’s eye and imagination.
Rules
- The competition is free to enter.
- The Youth competition is open to all members of the public aged under 19 on the closing date of the competition.
- Entries must be submitted between June 1, 2024 and 3 January 2025 at 13:00 (GMT).
- By entering the Competition, You agree and acknowledge that the World Photography Organisation is permitted to receive your registration data. All personal information will be used by the World Photography Organisation in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- Images must be taken in 2024 and Entries should be based on the theme outlined, information on which can be found on the Website. Entrants can submit a photograph that has been taken, entered in another competition, won an award, or been published in books, magazines, newspapers, online and printed editorials, self-published websites, and gallery exhibitions between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024.
- Images should be no smaller than 1mb and no larger than 5MB. Images should be JPEG files. All images must be saved in the sRGB colour model.
