DAIC in collaboration with MyGov is inviting submissions for The Song of Democracy – Song composition contest on Life and Work of Babasaheb Ambedkar. The last date of submission is April 30.
About the Contest
14th April 2025 marks Dr. Ambedkar’s 135th Birth Anniversary, also known as Ambedkar Jayanti. Through the Song Composition Competition on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Dr Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC) in collaboration with MyGov is inviting entries on this occasion to encourage creative expression and public participation, celebrate this occasion and raise awareness on Dr. Ambedkar’s philosophy and its relevance in the Indian Society.

Eligibility
The competition is open for all the Indian Citizens.
Theme
The subject is Dr. Ambedkar, democracy and Indian Constitution.
Participation Guidelines
- The song composition shall not be more than 3 minutes. Songs exceeding this time limit are liable to be rejected. The minimum length should be 1 minute.
- Songs containing offensive or inappropriate language or political overtones will not be accepted.
- The competition will be in English and Hindi, both languages. Entries can be submitted in either English or Hindi.
- One participant can submit a maximum of one entry only. Once submitted, an entry cannot be withdrawn.
