Arignar Anna Zoological Park is organising a Drawing and Poster Making Competition on the occasion of Wildlife Week on October 5, 2024.

About the Competition

As part of Wildlife Week 2024, an exciting Drawing/Poster Making Competition will be held on October 5, 2024, at the open area between the ticket counter and Director’s office. This competition provides a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their creativity while raising awareness about the beauty and importance of wildlife.

Competition Details

Participants will compete across various categories, each designed to challenge their artistic skills and understanding of wildlife. The topics are divided by age group:

  • Class 3 to 5: Jungle Scene
    Young artists are invited to illustrate a lively jungle, featuring animals such as tigers, monkeys, parrots, and other wildlife that makes the jungle come alive.
  • Class 6 to 8: Animal Adaptations
    Students in this category can depict an animal showcasing unique adaptations that help it survive in its environment. This could range from a camel surviving in the desert to a chameleon blending into its surroundings.
  • Class 9 to 11: Underwater Wonders
    Dive deep into the ocean and capture the breathtaking beauty of marine life. Participants can showcase anything from colorful coral reefs to mysterious deep-sea creatures.
  • Class 12 to College: Endangered Species
    This category asks participants to illustrate an endangered animal, highlighting its natural habitat and the challenges it faces. The artwork should serve as a reminder of the need to protect and preserve these vulnerable species.

How to Participate?

To enter the competition, participants need to provide the following information:

  • Participant Name
  • Institution Name (School/College)
  • Category/Class (Select the appropriate class level: Class 6 to 8, Class 9 to 11, or Class 12 to College)
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Home Address

Parents or guardians must agree to the terms and conditions and confirm their willingness to send their child to participate in the competition.

Prizes

All participants will receive a participation certificate, and the winners will be awarded a prize and a certificate.

Contest Guidelines

  • Participants must bring their own drawing materials.
  • The zoo will provide an A3-size drawing sheet.
