The Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov is organising Online Quiz on National Symbols and Traditions from 29 to 31 July 2024.
About the Quiz
The Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, proudly announces an exhilarating online quiz series as part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2024. This initiative aims to ignite patriotic feelings among the youth and masses through a deep dive into four compelling themes:
- Atmanirbhar Bharat in Defence Production
- Indian Freedom Struggle
- Military Might of India
- National Symbols and Traditions
Terms & Conditions
- All Indian Citizens can participate in the quiz.
- The criteria for selection of successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time” collectively in all the four quizzes, subject to the stipulation of 20 questions attempt and 05 minutes’ duration in each of the quizzes.
- An individual is permitted to participate only once in each of the quizzes.
- The participant should ensure that his / her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry would use this for further communication.
- Bonafide documents (proof of identity, age, address and bank details), will be required to be submitted by the winners after announcement of the result of the quiz. Non-furnishing of the above information/documents at appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.
- The same mobile number and same email ID cannot be used more than once for participation in the quiz.
Salient features
- Each of the quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. in Hindi and English.
- Duration of each of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
Prizes
- Winners of the contest will be announced on the basis of combined performance in all the above quizzes. However, participants will be allowed in all the above quizzes without round-wise elimination.
- There will be ten cash prizes for the winners of the contest selected on the basis of combined performance in all the above quizzes as under /
- 1st Prize – Rs.25,000/-
- 2nd Prize – Rs.15,000/-
- 3rd Prize – Rs.10,000/-
- Consolation Prizes (Seven) – Rs. 5,000/- each
- Top 250 participants would be issued invitation cards by Ministry of Defence to witness Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15th August, 2024 at Red Fort, Delhi.
- All participants to the Quiz will get an online generated certificate of participation by MyGov.in.
