About the Quiz
The National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ) 2025 is a premier nationwide competition designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students to showcase their knowledge of financial literacy and securities markets. With regional rounds held across six zones and the grand finale bringing together top talent, NFLQ 2025 offers a platform to learn, compete, and excel in the world of finance!
NFLQ 2025 is an exciting journey with three engaging rounds that challenge your financial knowledge and problem-solving skills. It all starts with an online quiz, followed by action-packed regional rounds, and culminates in the grand national finals. Each step brings you closer to the ultimate goal—becoming the National Financial Literacy Champion.
Eligibility
- The National Financial Literacy Quiz 2025 is open to all candidates who have completed their 10+2 / higher secondary level of education and are currently enrolled under any course / stream in any College/University/Institution operating from India. Only recognised College, University and Institutions shall be eligible to participate.
- The competition is open to both Undergraduate and Post-graduate students under separate category.
- The age of the participants should not exceed 25 years as of December01, 2024.
Restrictions On Participants
- Students enrolled in part-time / distance education programs are NOT eligible.
- Regional and National Winners of NFLQ 2024, National Financial Literacy Quiz 2022, other similar events conducted by NISM are NOT eligible to participate in this quiz competition.
- Students enrolled in long-term programs at NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) are also not eligible to participate in this quiz contest.
- Participants must adhere to the quiz’s integrity and ethical standards; violations may lead to disqualification.
Quiz Format
- Round 1 (Online Screening)1. 40 MCQs in 45 minutes.2. Questions carry 1, 3, or 4 marks each. 3. There is no negative marking.
- Regional and National Rounds1. Includes multiple rounds on stage.
Tie Breaker Rules
In case of a tie in scores:
- Higher-weighted questions answered correctly will be considered first.
- Time taken to answer will be the second criterion (applicable only in case of online quiz).
- If still unresolved, a tie-breaker question will be asked.
Round 1: Online Quiz
- Students can take MCQ based online quiz
- Undergrads and postgrads are eligible
- Last Date April 30, 2025
Round 2: Regional Rounds
- Proctored Quiz followed by Stage Rounds
- 6 Regions: North, South, East, West, Central and Northeast India
- 50 UG & 50 PG teams from each region qualify to regional rounds
Round 3: Semi-Finals &Grand Finale
- Proctored Quiz followed by Stage Rounds
- Will be held at NISM Campus near Mumbai
- 60 UG & 60 PG teams will qualify for semi-finals
