Ministry of AYUSH (MoA) in collaboration with MyGov is inviting submissions for International Day of Yoga 2025- Yog Geet Jingle Contest. The last date of submission is April 25.
About the Contest
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of International Day of Yoga, Ministry of AYUSH (MoA) in collaboration with MyGov is inviting citizens to write and compose a Yog Geet (Yog Geet / Jingle) for the upcoming International Day of Yoga, 2025 in official Indian language as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian constitution.
The Yog Geet / Jingle should highlight the cause of Yoga to serve as a tool in the betterment of the health and wellbeing of the community, especially improving physical and mental health.

The Yog Geet / Jingle should be apt, relevant and appealing. It should endeavor to drive awareness and adoption of Yoga by people of all ages. It must focus on encouraging people to participate in the observance of IDY, 2025 with their family and friends. It may cover aspects like the importance of regular practice of Yoga to manage health, prevent obesity and NCDs, and as a stress buster, improving productivity at work etc.
Eligibility
The contest is open to Indian Nationals only.
Participation Guidelines
- Participants must provide a script and a Yog Geet / Jingle of 25-30 seconds in any official Indian language (as per the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution).
- The composition should be easy to understand, engaging, peppy, and should effectively connect with the public.
- The high-quality audio file must be uploaded to a media platform such as SoundCloud, YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., with a publicly accessible link shared in the comments section.
- The script must be submitted separately as a PDF document along with the audio entry.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years of age to submit an entry.
