About DEI Board Schools
REI, a co-educational middle school, started on 1st January, 1917 marked the genesis of education in Dayalbagh. In the year 1919, the first batch appeared for high school examination. Subsequently the school was upgraded to intermediate college in 1922. It has grown today to become the Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), a Deemed to be University.
Besides the Degree level programmes, the Dayalbagh Educational Institute has been offering school education and has also been granted the status of Dayalbagh Educational Institute as Secondary/Higher Secondary Board with the full control of all its Academic and Examining activities by the AIU and UP State Govt.
The DEI Education model is based on experiential system. It presents strong interactions between several educational sub-systems which form its multiboard system.
These are, Pre-School and School Education at foundational level starting from children of three weeks followed by preparatory, middle, secondary and higher secondary education; Technical Education; Skill Education in several traditional and modern-day skills; University Education which also includes Post-Doctoral Education at the D.Sc./ D.Litt. degree levels; Consciousness and Higher Order Education; and Entrepreneurial Education, with a focus on social entrepreneurship.
Competition Details
The competition will be organized at four levels: Foundational Level, Preparatory Level, Middle School Level, Secondary Level.
Two participants from each school for each level along with their (02) school teachers.
All rounds will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
Foundation Level
- Fancy Dress/ Show and Tell.
- Time limit: 01 minute for presentation by participant.
- Performance will be followed by the questions from judges.
- Theme: Science.
- Reporting time: 12:30 pm.
Preparatory, middle, and secondary level
- First Round: Written Quiz.
- Second Round: Oral quiz including questions from judges, participants from first round and participants from second round.
- Reporting time: 9:00 am.
