Antariksh Society is a project funded by Bharat Astrospace under the ambitious India in Space Project. They also have a Space Education Centre at Mumbai at Mahapark spread over 100+ acres of Science and Nature park.
Exam Details
INDIAN SPACE TALENT SEARCH EXAM or ISTSE is an online test conducted by Antariksh Society to promote space education, identify talent and mentor bright minds. ISTSE was started in 2022 by Antariksh Society with the aim to reach out to students with an opportunity to explore and learn about space and astronomy.
ISTSE has an outreach of over 2,000 Schools and 5,00,000 students making it the largest independently conducted exam in India.
ISTSE is not for profit initiative and they charge a nominal fee to cover cost of administration and fulfill benefits offered to the participants.
Features
“Space is for Everyone” and so is ISTSE open for all students and not just for top students. Space is a subject which needs knowledge, skills, imagination, creativity and passion. We do not make judgements and invite all to participate and learn with us.
Online exam gives you comfort of appearing from any where and with any instrument like PC, Laptop, Tablet and Mobile Phone and the portal would be open for 3 days to appear and exam can be given any time 24×7.
There is NO Fail/Pass or grades in the results. All get same certificate format. Top 500 participants will get additional Certificate.

Option A:
Register for the ISTSE Mains 2024: Get Exam syllabus and preparatory online course. Nominal fee of INR 250 is charged as our admin cost.
Option B:
Join Antariksh SpacePort program and get ISTSE Registration Free along with other benefits of SpacePort program.
Rewards and Scholarship Benefits
- Participation Certificate is emailed immediately on completion of the exam.
- All participants will get ONLINE SYLLABUS. No other Books, Sample Papers or material are required to prepare for the exam.
- All participants will get opportunity to participate in the 2 Days Space Camps at Antariksh Vigyaan Kendra, MahaPark, Neral for a discounted Fee.
- Top 500 participants will be part of an exclusive Mentors group and get a special certificate signed by the President, Antariksh Society.
- Top 200 Students from the Exam would be invited to a specially organised Antariksh Space Camp in Mumbai. Eligible students will have to provide/arrange for own travel and boarding.
