The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 invites you to join the “Pose with Prose” campaign, celebrating the joy of reading and the magic of literature. Share your love for books, inspire others to pick up a story, and stand a chance to win exciting rewards. Let’s make reading go viral!

In this regards National Book Trust, India(NBT) in collaboration with MyGov is hosting “Selfie with your favourite book” contest.

How to Participate?

  • Snap Your Selfie: Take a creative selfie with your favorite book. Show off the cover or highlight a special moment as you enjoy reading it.
  • Tell Your Story: Add a caption sharing why this book is special to you.
  • Post & Tag: Post your selfie on Instagram, X, Linkedin or Facebook with the hashtag #FavoriteBookSelfie and tag @NBTIndia in your post.
  • Share the Love: Encourage your friends and family to like, comment, and join in too!

Guidelines

  • The book featured can be in any language or genre.
  • Keep your post public to ensure we can see your entry.
  • Only one book per selfie, but multiple entries with different books are allowed.
  • Ensure originality—plagiarized captions or edited photos from others will not be accepted.

Terms and Conditions

  • Participation is open to all. Minors must have parental consent to enter or they can post with their parent’s account.
  • All entries must be submitted to www.mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode will not be considered for evaluation.
  • Organizers are not liable for lost, late, incomplete, or technically flawed entries. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
  • By participating, you agree to allow NBT India and MyGov to use your submission for promotional purposes, but not limited to social media, website, and event collaterals.
  • Entries with incomplete profiles will not be considered. Participants have to make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated.
  • The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
  • Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. The government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
  • The campaign is non-commercial, no purchase or entry fee is required.
  • Entries will be judged based on the number of likes and shares.
  • The Ministry of Education reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform and it would be the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed.
  • By participating, the users accept these Terms and Conditions. Participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the competition.
  • All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
  • NBT India reserves the right to modify or cancel the campaign at its discretion.
