Challenge Details
ATL Marathon 2023-24 is a national-level innovation challenge spearheaded byΒ Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, UNICEF, and other stakeholders. This competition is aimed at young innovators who can address community issues and create working prototypes of innovative solutions. In the last edition of the Marathon, over 12,000 innovations were witnessed, with the top 400 teams securing internship opportunities with reputed companies in India, as well as prizes and certificates from AIM and NITI Aayog.
The theme for this year’s ATL Marathon is “India’s 75th Republic Day” As we celebrate this significant milestone in our nation’s history, we have crafted problem statements that resonate with the spirit of our republic. The problem statements are designed to inspire students to explore innovative solutions that uphold the values and principles of our democratic republic.

Submission Guidelines
- All Students (from ATL and Non-ATL schools) can submit their entries in the Marathon.
- Each Team shall consist of a maximum of 3 students (class 6th to 12th) and one ATL in-charge/ School Teacher (must be an employee of the ATL School). They encourage ATL schools to also include other school and/or community students within the Team Composition.
- The Innovations by the student teams must be aligned to one of the Themes of the ATL Marathon 2023-24.
- Each team must select one Problem Statement, where schools identify community problems of their choice and develop innovative solutions in the form of working prototypes.
- A team may submit entries to more than one problem statement, please keep in mind that to do so, you will need to fill the application form separately for each problem statement.
- There is no limit on how many teams from a school can participate.
