On the occasion of National Sports Day, S.S. Rana & Co. through our CSR initiative, IP4Kids is organizing Write-a-Thon- 8th Annual Writing Competition. The Essay Competition offers an opportunity to young minds to assess & pen down the immense role that sports plays in the legal regime and explore the various legal avenues where Sports as a subject has significantly emerged in the recent past.

  • Eligibility: The competition is open for school and college students only.

3. ICU Global Youth Essay Competition 2024 [Ages 14-18; Attractive Prizes including Two Round-Trip Tickets to Japan]: Submit by Oct 9

International Christian University (ICU) and Japan ICU Foundation invite youths from around the world to share their views on how to make society better. Each year, essay topics are selected in the areas of human rights and current events. For 2024, the application is open from August 9 to October 9. Apply to win great prizes, including the top prize of two round-trip tickets to Japan!

  • Eligibility: Applicants must be aged 14-18 as of October 9, 2024 (inclusive) and must currently reside outside of Japan. University/college students as of October 9, 2024 are ineligible to apply.

4. Student Essay Contest on Mathematics by AWM and Math for America [Free; Online; Exciting Prizes]: Submit by February 2025

To increase awareness of women’s ongoing contributions to the mathematical sciences, the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) andΒ Math for AmericaΒ  co-sponsor an essay contest for biographies of contemporary women mathematicians and statisticians in academic, industrial, and government careers. The essays will be based primarily on an interview with a womanΒ currently working in or retired from a mathematical sciences career.Β Participation is open to middle school, high school, and undergraduate students.

  • Eligibility: This essay contest is open to students in the following categories:
    • Grades 6 – 8
    • Grades 9 – 12
    • Undergraduate
  • Awards:
    • There is one First Place Winner in each category (Grades 6-8, Grades 9-12, and Undergraduate) and a Grand Prize Winner chosen from among those three First Place Winners. There are also typically 0-3 Honorable Mentions in each category.
    • The winners (including honorable mentions) receive a monetary prize, a membership in the Association for Women in Mathematics, a certificate, and their name and affiliation published in the Newsletter for the AWM.Β  In addition, all of the essays are published online and the Grand Prize winnerβ€˜s essay is published in the AWM Newsletter

Through the Heartfulness Essay Event, participants are invited to tap into their inner space, tune in to the soft voice of the heart that never fails to guide and inspire, and express in words their experiences related to the theme of this year’s Event.

Participants may write their essays in any ONE of the following languages: English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu.

The Immerse Education Essay Competition provides the opportunity for students aged 13-18 to submit essay responses to a question of their choice relating to a subject of interest. There are over twenty questions to choose from which can be found in the full Essay Competition Guide.
