TheΒ Central Board of Secondary EducationΒ (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by theΒ Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow theΒ NCERTΒ curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.

Reference to CBSE circular no.Acad-100/2023 dated 23.08.2023 and circular no.Acad-111/2023 dated 21.09.2023, this is to inform all the stakeholders that the last date for βRegistrationβ and βApplying to Participateβ in CBSE Games is further extended up to 07.10.2023 without late fee.
After the last date, there will be late fee for βRegistrationβ and βApplying to Participateβ in CBSE Games as per details given as follows:
- From 08.10.2023 to 14.10.2023: Rs.500/- per student
- From 15.10.2023 to 21.10.2023: Rs.1000/- per student
The late fee shall be paid online while filling the online form on CBSE Sports Portal. Before βRegisteringβ and βApplying to Participateβ with late fee, the schools should check the dates of sports event(s) in CBSE Sports Calendar (2023-24).
Further, students of all schools affiliated to CBSE under independent category and managed by Army, Navy, Airforce, Defence, Railways, CRPF, Police, Assam Rifles, Para-Military, BSF, PSUs and other such central agencies, are also eligible to participate in CBSE Games, subject to remittance of Annual Sports Fee to CBSE.
