About the Competition
KEFβs Story Narration Competition 2024-25: Echoes of Tomorrow is now open for registration. Open to students of regional schools in India and across the globe, this remarkable contest of communication skills, imaginative story portrayal and holistic learning boosts studentsβ storytelling abilities and creative expression.
A unique and innovative platform for students in Grades 5-8 to showcase their English oratory and performance skills, this fierce contest is part of One World One Stage from KEFβs Communicative English Future Readiness Project.
Lasting a minimum of three minutes and a maximum of four minutes, each action-packed presentation will engage audiences with original ideas, realistic props, light and sound effects, and fascinating characters in dramatic costumes. Exciting story themes and topics include World of Fantasy-Exploring the Unseen World for Grades 5 and 6, and World of TomorrowβExploring the World of 2050 for Grades 7 and 8.
Echoes of Tomorrow is one of many leading-edge initiatives from CE-FR to build student agility, adaptability and future-readiness.

Eligibility
- Students from Grades 5 and 6 (Junior)
- Students from Grades 7 and 8 (Senior)
- Regional Schools in India and across the globe can participate.
Language
Students should submit their stories only in English.
Theme
Junior Category: Grades 5 and 6
- Theme – World of Fantasy
- Topic – Exploring the Unseen World
Senior Category: Grades 7 and 8
- Theme – World of Tomorrow
- Topic – Exploring the World of 2050
Time Limit
The story should have a duration ranging from a minimum of 3 minutes to a maximum of 4 minutes.
Guidelines
- One school can submit videos of 5 participants in Category 1, i.e. Grades 5 and 6 students, and videos of 5 participants in Category 2, i.e. Grades 7 and 8 students.
- Video of the story should be submitted by the school by completing the Google form. The Google form link is in the flyer/email sent to the schools.
- Schools will be informed about the winners through mail before the public announcement.
- When uploading videos on the Google form, please ensure that the accepted file formats are limited to commonly used formats such as MP4, MOV, or AVI.
- Students are allowed to use visual aids such as props, costumes, toys, background images, or instruments in their video narrations, although it is not compulsory.
Judgement Criteria
The narration will be judged on pronunciation, articulation, memorization, voice modulation, body language, confidence, and overall impact. Good audio and video quality are expected.
