In an era where technological advancement and environmental sustainability are paramount, equipping our students with the skills to address global challenges is more crucial than ever. The intersection of technology and sustainability presents unprecedented opportunities for innovation and problem-solving. In this regard CBSE is inviting all affiliated schools to participate in the β€˜Future Tech for Sustainability Program’ in collaboration with IBM SkillsBuild.

This program aims to empower students with cutting-edge technology skills in Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies while fostering a mindset of sustainability and innovation. Through the IBM SkillsBuild platform, students can discover new interests, learn about emerging technologies through courses, earn digital credentials, and build future skills. By blending technical proficiency with environmental consciousness, we shall be preparing our students not just for future careers, but to become responsible global citizens capable of driving positive change in an increasingly complex world.

ORIENTATION SESSION: A Virtual/Online Orientation Session is also scheduled for the Principals/ Teachers wherein the complete details of the program along with details of IBM SkillsBuild platform shall be shared with the registered participants.

  • Digital Credentials: Students will earn industry-recognized digital credentials through course completions on IBM SkillsBuild, enhancing their portfolio and prospects.
  • Future Tech Olympiad: An Olympiad for students to test their knowledge and competency in future technologies and win medals.
  • AI for Sustainability Hackathon: A hackathon for students to develop innovative solutions addressing real-world sustainability challenges using AI.
  • AI Innovation Accelerator: Top students from the hackathon are selected to get guidance and support to scale their projects.
  • IBM Expert Mentoring & Workplace Experiences: Selected projects will receive mentoring from IBM professionals to develop their project prototypes as part of workplace experiences.
  • Teacher Recognition: The top 50 teachers who excel in promoting future skills among students through this program will be honoured for their efforts.

Please Note:

  • The program is free of cost and open to all students of Class VI-XII.
  • Schools are requested to nominate a coordinator to oversee the program implementation.
  • Schools registering for the program will be contacted by IBM implementation partner 1M1B.
  • Registering schools shall be required to provide email ids of students to get them onboarded on the IBM SkillsBuild platform under the respective school’s name.
