CBSE has released a notification on Extension of Last Date for Registration in CBSE Games 2024-25. Read this article to get the details.
About the Notification
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an important update for schools and students regarding the CBSE Games for the academic year 2024-25. According to the recent circular (no. Acad-58/2024) dated 23rd July 2024, the deadline for ‘Registration’ and ‘Applying to Participate’ in the CBSE Games has been extended. Schools and students now have until 21st August 2024 to complete the necessary registration process. It is crucial to note that no further extensions will be granted beyond this date.

Late Fee Structure for Registrations Post-Deadline
For those who miss the extended deadline, CBSE has introduced a late fee structure. Registrations and applications submitted between 22nd August 2024 and 28th August 2024 will incur a late fee of Rs. 500 per student. If the registration is delayed further, a higher late fee of Rs. 1000 per student will apply for entries submitted between 29th August 2024 and 4th September 2024. This late fee must be paid online during the submission process on the CBSE Sports Portal.
Update for Schools Regarding Player Information
In addition to the extension, CBSE has observed that some schools have not yet updated the class information of their previous year’s players. To address this, an EDIT option will soon be available on the portal, allowing schools to update or correct player details as necessary.
