About THINQ 2024
The Indian Navy takes immense pride in announcing the flagship event, THINQ 2024, a unique national-level quiz competition. It aims to provide young minds with a unique opportunity to experience the ‘way of life’ of the Indian Navy, instilling a sense of national pride and patriotism while testing their knowledge and intellect.
Theme
- The theme of THINQ 2024 is ‘Viksit Bharat’, which represents the transformative facets of development such as economic prosperity, social advancement, environmental sustainability and effective governance. In addition, general questions on the Indian Navy will also be asked to the Participants.
- The Questions will cover various topics such as current affairs, sports, history, science, geography, arts, books, entertainment, and the Indian Navy.
- THINQ-24 will comprise of Preliminary Rounds, Zonal Selection Round, Semi-Finals and Finals.
Who can Participate?
The quiz is open to all students in classes IX to XII in schools in India, irrespective of the affiliation mode or region.
Participation Criteria
- The quiz is open to all students enrolled in classes IX to XIl in respective schools, and for all the schools in India, irrespective of the affiliation mode or region.
- Each school can field only one team. Each team must comprise of two team members.
- Both students of each team must be enrolled in the same school. They can register only through their respective schools.
- Inter-class teams are allowed. For example, a team can consist of a Class IX student and a Class XIl student.
Registration Process
- All teams must register online to take part in THINQ-24 quiz.
- Registration for the quiz must be done by the school staff only. The Registration Portal must be understood thoroughly by the school prior to registration. No fields marked mandatory are to be left without filling.
- Students are not permitted to register themselves for THINQ-24.
- The students participating in THINQ-24 are to be in possession of a valid Identity Card of the respective school at the time of Registration. Details of the School Identity card will have to be furnished at the time of registration.
- If selected for the Semi-finals, then the teams will have to be accompanied by a teacher from respective schools. Details of the accompanying teacher will be gathered by THINQ-24 team post completion of the Zonal round and finalisation of teams for the Semi-Finals.

- Registration Commences: July 15, 2024
- Registration Ends: August 15, 2024
- Mock Test: September 5-9, 2024
- Elimination Round 1: September 10, 2024
- Elimination Round 2: September 19, 2024
- Elimination Round 3: September 25, 2024
- Zonal Selections (Online): October 14-15, 2024
- Semi Finals: November 7, 2024
- Grand Finale: November 9, 2024
Prizes
The winners will be recognised and honoured with exciting prizes, including mementos, gifts and certificates.
The semi-finalists and finalists will engage in activities that encourage understanding of the culture, heritage and natural beauty of the state of Kerala.
In addition, the semi-finalists and finalists would be given an opportunity to visit Indian Naval Ships, Establishments, Training Facilities, Naval Aircrafts, and would be introduced to the Naval way of life.
