About GEMA

GEMA is an education platform that offers just that – a wide range of engaging online classes for kids, taught by experienced and independent educators.

GEMA was founded in 2020 with a mission to provide children with an innovative way to learn. At first, homeschoolers were the primary users of the platform, but it quickly gained popularity among kids in conventional schools as well. The platform became even more critical during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a vital lifeline for families looking to keep their kids engaged in learning and socializing.

Competition Details

Welcome to the World Storytelling Competition for Kids K-12, where young storytellers from around the globe can showcase their creativity and storytelling skills!

Choose a Story from the list of stories given under appropriate category. Let the student read and understand it properly. After students have heard or read a story, have them retell it in their own words. Prepare a video where the child will narrate the story.

At their competition, they believe that storytelling is an essential part of every child’s development. It helps them to express themselves, develop language skills, and spark their imagination. Through storytelling, children can explore new worlds and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures and perspectives.

Eligibility

Our competition is open to children from kindergarten to 12th grade, and we encourage all young storytellers to participate.

Awards

  • 3 Winners in Each Category who will get a Trophy and Winners Certificate.
  • School Level Winners for Schools with more than 50 Registrations, who will get a Trophy and Winners Certificate.
  • Every Participant will get a Participation Certificate.

Registration Fee

INR 500.

How to do Bulk Entry for Schools?

For bulk entries through schools, please connect with Ms Renne over +971-527809450 at a special fee. For Bulk entries schools don’t need to do individual registrations, just attach all entries in a single email and send it to them on: contact@worldstorytellingcompetition.in. Once they receive the entries, they will send you a combined payment link, which can be used to make a single click payment.

Is there a cap on minimum or maximum entry from a school?

No.
